We have renewed our landbank lease for the 2012 season and are excited to get the garden growing again! As it stands we already have several herbs and strawberries coming up, and kale and carrots that made it through the winter. But, it is a new spring (or summer? it was 84 degrees today, I no longer know which way is south or what month it is!) and we need to do some spring cleaning and get some plants in the ground. On Saturday March 31st at 12:00 noon we will be having BIG workday and hope that everyone can make it out to help. We need to pick up trash, organize pots and tools in the shed, weed, mix compost into the soil and make plans for the coming year! The campus beet will provide ice tea and lemon-aide as a thank you for all your hard work.
See you there! LOVE THE CAMPUS BEET!
