Happy Thanksgiving, With Love, The Campus Beet

Who can resist beets wearing pilgrim hats?!

The leaves are falling, the trees are nearly bare. Halloween has left us with memories of treats and scares. It seems as if we have to grab our coats almost every time we go out the door, and there sure are a lot of great autumn harvest foods to be thankful for! Here at The Campus Beet we are gearing up to put on a Thanksgiving Dinner in the basement of the Wesley Foundation at Western Michigan University on Tuesday November 15th from 7-9pm. We would love for you to join us.

The Thanksgiving menu includes Seitan Rolls, Root Vegetable Bread Pudding, Mashed Potatoes, Sweet Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, Cornbread, Apple Pie and Iced Tea. The food is served on a first come, first served basis. This event will also feature a fun thanksgiving craft, live music, display student art, and provide a cozy atmosphere. So, bring friends, a hungry belly and a thankful mind to celebrate Thanksgiving with The Campus Beet!

With Love,
The Campus Beet

About The Campus Beet

The Campus Beet is a registered student organization at Western Michigan University trying to organize and develop a student-run sustainable cafe. We aim to source more local and organic food and serve more vegetarian, vegan, gluten free meals while building a space for student art, music and culture. We have weekly meetings on Wednesdays at 7PM in the Bernhard Center dining room if you would like to help.
